NESL COVID-19 REFUNDS/CREDITS

NESL COVID-19 RESPONSE

Parents,

As we all know, the current Covid-19 epidemic has had far reaching effects on everything around us, and it seems we will be waiting even longer before we see our ‘regular lives’ again.  Unfortunately, this also applies to our league operations.  We deeply regret not being able to safely provide a soccer league this season.

Just like any business, certain costs have to be paid before business can even begin.  Being a nonprofit organization is no different. State and city license fees and supplies just to name a few.  While we would love to give every family a full refund, that just isn’t possible. 

Our spring season started March 7.  A fee per player had already been paid to El Paso Parks and Recreation in order to obtain our permits for game fields.  Players were all already placed on rosters on their respective teams, as is required by South Texas Youth Soccer Association (STYSA).   STYSA will not be giving us a credit on those registration fees. And as of yet, El Paso Parks and Recreation has not issued a refund for our permit fees to EPCSL, only NESL has received their spring permit refund. 

Below are the options in regard to registration fees:  Partial Refund OR Partial Credit for the 2020/2021 Soccer Year.  Please read the chart below to see what your refund/credit amount will be.

Should we receive any refunds from STYSA and/or El Paso Parks and Recreation for any of the fees we already paid, we will gladly reduce registration fees next season for every player, so we can pass that refund along to you. 

Any refunds or credits not requested by August 31, 2020 11:59 PM will be considered a league donation. This money will help us get a better start next season.  To start next season we will need to purchase field paint and supplies, PPE (hand sanitizers, masks, etc.).  YOUR DONATION WILL HELP OUR LEAGUE BE HERE WHEN THE KIDS CAN PLAY AGAIN!

Please make sure to include player name, date of birth, team name, parent/guardian name who the refund is being issued, and your current mailing address.

Remember that the deadline to receive a refund/credit is August 31, 2020 at 11:59 PM.
