We know yesterday’s announcement from the City was a major disappointment to all of us.
We (NESL, WS, and PDN) have been working on a number of different scenarios and continue to communicate in a collaborated effort for soccer in our community.
We realize that everyone wants their registration money returned to them, but please understand expenses were paid and we cannot refund what we do not have.
Unfortunately getting our money back from STYSA appears to be unlikely unless US Youth Soccer agrees to provide some relief that has yet to be announced. The City has already said it will be 6-8 weeks before we receive anything back from them. In addition, we have initiated the steps necessary to apply for a grant through the Care Act to offset the expenses paid, but that too will take time.
We are trying to figure out how to work this all out so please just give us a little time.
We will communicate to EVERYONE once we have a solution.
We are missing soccer as much as everyone else and hope this gets resolved sooner than later!
El Paso Youth Soccer
(Northeast and Westside)
We are still determined to have a season. As soon as El Paso is cleared to return to normal, we will get our kids back on the fields even if we have to play in to the summer.
Stay safe! Stay inside! And remember to wash your hands. Thank you.
ATTENTION: ALL TEAMS AND STAFF
Due to the closing of all fields by El Paso Parks and Recreation, and in the interest of 'social distancing' during this current COVID19 event, all games have been suspended until April 1, or later if needed.
We are determined to start this season, even if we do have to delay for a month or longer. As soon as we know when we can start games again, we will let you know. We assure you, games will not be scheduled until health officials deem it safe to resume our regular lives.
As we all know, this situation is changing daily. As much as we would like to keep our lives as normal as possible, the mass numbers of event suspensions and cancelations came very fast and now we are ALL being affected in one way or another, even without any known cases our community yet.
Please take care of yourselves and those around you. We wish all our soccer families, coaches, referees, and staff the best of luck during this worrisome time.

PLAN AHEAD...Players who register late will not be eligible to play the day of their registration and will have to wait until the following week and/or next scheduled home game.
It is the coaches responsibility to show up at our scheduled Office Hours to pick up player cards for new players before they may participate in a game.
Please refer to Schedules for information regarding cancellations or weather delays. Top banner will be updated as decisions are made.
El Paso Parks & Recreation is running a survey to decide which parks need maintenance.
We need everyone (coaches, parents, players, relatives) to complete the survey for NE Regional Park and Skyline Parks. You can also complete the survey for any El Paso park you would like improved.
Parks with the most surveys will get priority.
